I interpreted this as a game that went on for 24 hours
Your name is James Murray, and you're a restaurant owner. For several years, your restaurant was the best in town, having hundreds of customers every day. One day, two young men moved into the city and started to build a new restaurant down the street. The place was called Fredbear's Family Diner and had something that wasn't seen before. Performing mascots. This new idea took the city by storm and made the new diner popular in just a few short weeks. More and more people started to choose the diner, leaving your restaurant empty each day. But the joy didn't last long. After a malfunction, the owner's kids, a little boy and a little girl, died tragically. The place closed immediately. You take advantage of the situation and sneak in one night to steal a robot for your own restaurant in the hopes of regaining your customers.
