Ok for everyone still confused. After lots of talking with the creator, I think I can finally give a clear cut answer on how to deal with toy freddy.
In this game, unlike most the music box (as far as I can tell) never drains fasters as the night progress it always stay slow with the challenge instead being to remember to wind it. When toy freddy moves you must NOT FLASH HIM but instead HOLD THE LIGHT ON HIM. This will freeze him up in place giving you enough time to deal with the others like music box, foxy, bb, and everyone else. Do this enough and by the time toy freddy reaches the backroom he will fail to shut it off because 6 am will finally arrive.
Now I might be wrong but just throwing this out incase it is true so I don't miss any detail. When the power's out you might be able to restore if you keep your camera up long enough. Again I was told this not by the creator so I can 1,000% wrong and it is just a instant game over. But just letting out there encase it's true is all.
Lets just hope this isn't considered close enough to the real games for Scott to do a OSFNAF2 on us. I guess there are some positives of being lesser know.

I plan to eventually make a Rewritten version of 3-6 to tell the full story. 4,5,6 will have the biggest story changes. The first 3 games will mostly introduce the world of the Rewritten games and set up things that will pay off in 4-6. This game in particular sets up some "world rules" that may not be obvious until Rewritten 6.
I started writing the full story of the project about a year ago. After Security Breach, I wanted to go back and rewrite the games to have a clear story that doesn't venture far into the world of sci-fi. I started making the story into games as a way to practice lighting, atmosphere, and world-building. The Rewritten series is meant to present the rewrite in a more faithful way than projects like FNAF+, but different enough to be interesting for players of the original.
This brings me to something that's very important for those that are going to play the game: This game is not meant to be a replacement/alternative to playing the original FNAF 2!!! This is a different experience that tells a different story, it's not just a free FNAF 2 clone!!
The game is meant to be a way for players of the original games to re-visit FNAF in a way that also brings back the feeling of putting together the story for the first time.
