I understand your frustration, and one of the things I changed in Side Saddle 2 is the control scheme. I'll look into reworking the original game with some of the lessons I've learned over the course of the last year, including the controls, but I'm not sure when I'll be getting around to doing that. == The second game is different in a lot of ways-- it's a boss battle puzzle shmup with no way to die, no ammo system, and it doesn't have the same art style for another-- but I think it improves on the basic side-shooting and tower-power-up mechanics.

Wow. I... Huh. That is to say, well... Huh. == I'm either really bad at this game, or it's impossible to play for more than a few seconds. I'm guessing the latter, though I kinda wish it was the former-- there's nothing wrong with an incredibly disgusting premise if it's married to strong gameplay (look at, for example, Puzzle Farter). == That being said--- my official reactions remains, Huh.

Thank you for the great comment (and rating!), Scoz. I went with this particular art style because (1), I wanted to keep the file size down this time around, and (2), my scanner had stopped working. :- ) = I am going to try to do something more stylish art-wise for my next big game (as opposed to the small, quick, contest-entering game I'm working on now.) = Thanks again!
