I'm Andrew McCluskey, a 21 year old Game Maker user living in Dundee, Scotland as a Junior Developer for YoYo Games. Been using GameMaker since age 11. I write reviews and occasional other stuff for Game Maker Blog and am a returned YYG moderator.
I aim for a number of things in my creations, sometimes simplicity but addictiveness, other times toying with players' senses (by that, I basically mean inducing dizziness, nausea and headaches). I often use graphical effects to create interesting outcomes.

2 weeks agoI saw the coverage on IndieGames, thank-you very much for it and for the kind words! :) Thanks to the time limit and also a slight lack of foresight the game is a tad flawed - I was unable to fix the camera in time, and the most common complaint - low distance between the floor you're on and the one above you causing you to hit your head a lot - was one that didn't even register to me as a problem. I'd definitely like to fix both of these up some time, as well as spend a few days adding to it, though!

I'd like to ask you to majorly tone the difficulty of your future Innoquous games down a couple notches. None of my friends are capable of passing any farther than level 15, and it's really frustrating.
