Very rough, but conceptually sound. Weak level design and very few mechanics to explore. Even the mechanics presented do not get explored thoroughly. The game seems fairly rushed, but with polish could have been very good. I had enough fun to merit beating it though, but your mileage may vary. I would play other games by this creator, with the assumption that he has potential and will learn more nuance over time.

There's not a warning? The game is legendary for this. Did you even read the game overview? I also don't get what you mean about the controls being annoying. You got pixel perfect movement and a jump button as well as a button to shoot. You could always File -> Player to change this.

This game could have benefited a lot by simply not having a plot. The game is super easy (I died 3 times, twice to instant death traps and once against red for some reason), and combat is almost good, but ends up being either too simple or semi random. Basically block into a counter attack beats everything. The boss battles were almost really good but just didn't quite make it. Graphics style is good and besides for some control shakiness (like with the corners), the game felt fine, other then climbing moving at an extremely bore inducing pace. Still fun. The last levels played out well enough. Still a good game, abet a flawed one. Would definitely play a sequel in the hopes that it was addressed.
