Don't Touch the Spikes

A simple, difficult, 12-level, monochromatic, weekend-made precision platformer with an abundance of spikes. Enjoy!

Also, my first game made in Stencyl. And it was made for the 2nd Weekend Jam and Stencyl's 4th Game Jam!

Good game. I thought some of the late levels were easier, I beat them in my first try. I liked the graphics, but I don't feel that the player fits in with the rest visually.

Keyboard smashingly hard. But still fair and good -- that's the way I like my games!

Keep up the good work. :)

Hey man, I cleared my cache and tried it out again. The collision appears to be fixed as far as when you turn the character around near spikes, but as for the running off the edge issue, it's still been happening now and then.

I don't like it how the spikes fall faster than you do, but everything else is pretty nice.

Difficult but fun. :3 I do prefer my precision platformers without accelerating speed/friction/etcetera. I found a glitch where I couldn't run off the edge; I just kept running but not moving. :/

This game is made with Stencyl, which is a game dev program built on Flixel. I'm not certain whether I'll stick with Stencyl but I really like quite a few aspects of it, so it's looking likely.
