The empire has tasked you with dominating the quadrant. The quadrant is overrun with alien scum, but you have been equipped with the capital ship USS Fangorodrim to complete your mission. Build research labs, power stations, mining facilities and more. Research bombs, warp drive and logistics to build a fleet and wipe out the alien hive before humanity is overrun.
1. You win by colonizing all of the sectors.
2. Should take about an hour to win on medium map and normal difficulty.
3. Tested on Win XP, Vista, Win 7 systems.
4. There's nothing to install, just unzip the file and double-click the exe.
5. Freeware single-player game.

This could be a really cool game. Unfortunately, the long battles and unintuitive controls bring it down. Suggestions? Make an in-game tutorial as many strategy games do and work on setting better controls. Without the use of the mouse, you can settle on either WASD or the arrow keys, but both, then use ZXCV as action keys or something similar.
