Slicks and Slide is a remake of the 90's PC game of the same name. We are still developing the game, adding tracks and so forth. Car physics are by Timo Kauppinen. 1 and 2 player local game.

Sounds are not working atm on this site, visit homepage for working sound version.

Opera browser also has issues, sometimes does not load.

Keep going with the game, make the tracks simpler, don't punish too much when off road and this game will be cool!

I feel that in the course of good time you might end up with a good game on your hands. At current, an awkward game to play without a joystick, and not much fun just racing yourself. I do not doubt that you will have little difficulty with producing an AI which controls a dozen or so other cars to compete against. The graphics are excellent and it's obvious to see that they are indeed 100% original. Not sure that I entirely agree with the game physics for the player's car, but I do understand that this is work in progress for you. Pay close attention to Super Sprint by Atari 1986 (it was a smash and I bet that you can do better) 3.5 /5 (70%)

Thanks for your words. We have multiplayer nearly ready but lots of spit and polish to do still. At the same time it's hard to be proud when you see stuff like Deliverance coming out which is leaps ahead. We might focus on making the multiplayer as good as possible instead of putting energy into AI, singleplayer, progression, tournaments all that stuff and just try to make the online system engaging. No matter what, it's been character building to make it... Surprising amount of work to get a simple seeming racer into decent shape.

4 player version with joypad support is all ready, but I've been fumbling over the certification system, and whether we want to subject the user to having to click the approve button. Might make a downloadable build just for this site though :) We are working to make the game online multiplayer, but that will take a while.
