The name fits the game. Without Cease is a top-down shooter on an epic scale. Enemies will attack you ruthlessly, and nonstop. Starts off pretty mild, and works into a frenzied, mind-numbing bullet hell nightmare.

I did not get much farther than when all the ships started to attack and two bosses started appearing at once. But my opinion is that I think a two or three hit health system would be a bit more fun. The game overall is extremely simple, you hold the Z button and avoid everything else (why put a button for firing if you are holding it down all the time?). While inciting mass chaos, if felt like I wasn't doing much other than avoiding bullets. I give it a three, but I do give you respect for making such a chaotic game ;) Perhaps if you released another version you might want to add power-ups that allow for a richochet shot, shotgun, rail gun, etc and maybe a health system.
