The Plantation: Multiplayer
By jackelalien - Added On 5/18/2013
This multiplayer map is called: "The Plantation." It is set on an old Civil War Plantation, where players will fight against each other with multiple weapons.
Features:
- A ten player fight to the death. You play to the first one with 35 kills.
- Multiple Weapons
- Free-4-All Deathmatch
- A chat system (Press T to Talk)
Story:
The year is 2014. A war has broken out in the US, between Terrorists, mercenaries, and soldliers right under the government's nose. Combat is done in secret places to avoid attention, such as this old Civil War Plantation. The Mercenaries are separate and fight each other for their pay, and the terrorists come from different, hostile groups around the world. The troopers started out friendly, but being somewhat mercenaries, had to fight each other for better pay.
Who will win?

You said it works fine (you managed to host a game, walk around, and all of that?)
Oh! DirectX - make sure your version is fully up to date, that could be your issue. (I'm looking up directx requirements right now)
1) Check your firewall settings, make sure the game is allowed.
2) Make sure your friend's firewall allows the game, too.
3) Can your computer run it? Most computers run it just fine, but if you have an old one, it will not run properly. (Check your system specs, too).
4) I believe it gives you an option of game number vs. IP address. If you typed in the game number, type in the IP Address. If you did it the other way, type the game number.
5) Try hosting the server yourself, and have your friend join. (If this does not work, then it's probably your computer.)
Also, be sure your IP is not 192.168.x.x, that causes a problem. If you need to find your ip: http://www.whatismyip.com
Hope this works! - Jack
