fps inspired by deus ex and blade runner

There’s barely a piece of modern media that comes to close to how Blade Runner lends itself to interpretation, and that might be why allen has decided to cite is as an influence for The King of The Wood. This is a game that mostly takes place in what is essentially a Blendo Games-inspired re-imagining of the DuClare Chateau from Deus Ex. You play a cyborg hunter who is told to go and take down a target in their mansion and to practise general precautions, even though it shouldn’t be a dangerous assignment. You take your gun from your office, but you have to draw it yourself should you wish to use it; likewise, you can holster it at any time. Thus, the game introduces the element of choice when it comes to violence from the start, and that’s important.
