Pheon
By BitZero - Added On 9/24/2010
Originally created for the Second GameJolt Jam, Pheon was intended to be a small-scale bullet-hell/boss SHMUP. However, over the past month it's evolved into a larger game with ten bosses, three modes, 12 attainable trophies, and other goodies.
The gameplay is relatively simple. You use the WASD keys to move the player ship, while aiming with the mouse. Shooting is automatic, so you don't need to worry about finger cramps. All you need to worry about is dodging the barrage of bullets, not crashing into the enemies, and blowing up said enemies.
Pheon features:
- Three gameplay modes (basically the same, but with greater challenge)
- 12 trophies
- Customizable HUD/Ship color
- Online statistics
- Online highscores
- 10 bosses
- Music by Ashley Gwinnell
- GameJolt API (created by UnknownGamer)
Controls:
* WASD - Move the player
* Right Click - Bomb
* Mouse - Aim
* Escape - Quit/Pause Menu
Enjoy!

Overall I found this boring and to simple. Yah the pretty little grahics(the colorful lines) And your player is a dot. So lemme give me ful out review:
This game is a lot like most of the games on this site im finding out. Im finding out that almost every game on this site is some sort of shooter fast arcade type of game and they are all blending together and all the same and all boring. This game is no different, this is just lke any other outer space type game whee ur some sort of gun blasting stuff. YAWN, so we have another game thats like Gradius, Lifeforce, 1940, asteroids and on and on. No story and like I said if your to spend time on the colorful shapes, you would spend time on making the player morethan a round dot. No story no motivation to play other than getting a score...YAWN. So dont be upset at this review the thng is when I think INDIE gaes i tink of artists that do a lil more then making a dot soot dots at colorful triangles
you could put more particles and effects like geometry wars..
keep the good work!
For such a simple concept this game sure does a wonderful job of keeping the player engaged :)
The gameplay was nice and fun, but the art needs work, I completely lost my cursor a number of times and had to flail around to find it...
Otherwise, a worthy bullet-hell.
