Graphics could be a little better, but only if your trying to really improve the game, as they're not bad by any means. The long recharge can slow down the game a bit, certainly on boss' and such. I'd also probably recommend speeding the camera up a bit, on the first level I hit spikes I couldn't even see! Maybe more to do with my lack of skill and too much haste but just my opinion lol.
Other than those small things, it was a very fun game! I liked the controls and the shop element, and didn't come across and bugs or glitches. Great work, hope to see more!
I would like to recommend two things:
- When designing a UI try to keep the static elements as far away from the active game field as possible. Many times I found it very frustrating trying to pick weapons when the UI elements were over top of it. Likewise, there is not enough constrast on the UI elements. Many times I could not read the Level because it was blending in.
- The insanely long recharge time has got to go, or at least be rethought out. Many times I would enter a boss battle with little to no energy left. So instead I'd have to wait for many minutes for it recharge. I'd recommend redesigning around a faster recharge or refilling your energy when you enter a new level.
Fun gameplay, Endless amount of fun!
Thanks!!!
