What It's All About!

World Of is a 2D MMORPG that is currently in development. The game plays features many unique systems and concepts to make it stand out.

-Exploration based gameplay, avoiding solo questing.
-Reactive world complete with global influence and fame systems.
-Interactive environment which reacts to element types.

Development

The World Of Debels is being developed with Game Maker.

My team and I chosen to use Game Maker because it allows us to implement content and features very quickly compared to other languages.

World Of Debels has been in development since September 30, 2011, and while progress is slow, the game is starting to take shape. The goal is to develop more than just basic systems or a simple PvP or GvG.

Alpha Demo

We're hoping to host our first alpha demo Q3 or Q4 of 2012. This distant time frame has been chosen because we want our alpha demo to include a lot of things (feature rich). The alpha demo will be for chosen community members and Donators only.

Hopefully the first open beta will be around March 2013 or December 2013. The beta will be released when the game is very established and feature rich, and will be released with commercial options disabled still. After a few months, commercial options will be enabled and the game will be considered officially released.
