Pretty good game. Felt like a bit of a slow start for some reason. Turn based RPGs can be a hard sell for me.

Also, I had some pretty harsh lag on the naming screen. Everything else went smoothly, but I nearly gave up before I had my name picked out.

If it helps, I ran into a low framerate when using the quick play option. I haven't downloaded the game, so there may be a difference.

This game looks great, but when I try to run it, I get such horrible lag that it's basically unplayable. Not sure what is causing that. I have a very high-end computer.

That's weird, seeing as I develop it on a roughly ten years old computer. Are you sure you close all other applications before running the game? I know that if multiple applications compete about DirectX, there is usually lag.

Yeah, that is weird. I even tried doing a clean reboot of the computer and running nothing but the game, but still, I can't even input my name without crazy lag. No idea what's going on with that. I will keep trying I guess.

Also, I *think* the naming screen runs 30 fps instead of 60 (as the rest of the game runs)... about what level is your framerate at?

UPDATE!!! (To version 0.5)

A new chapter has been added between Level Forest and Rubeus' Tests. Modified some other things around that point, too. Old savefiles might have been broken by this, but don't worry, there's a fix: hold RIGHT for two seconds on the title screen, and a "New Game +" option will appear on the main menu (if you have any Cleared Data savefiles, which is impossible at this point, New Game + should always appear). Just select New Game + to start the game over from the beginning, except all characters carry over data from a previous save, all your items carry over, and all enemies get stronger to match the level of your characters. As well, loot and enemy equipment will get stronger at the same rate.
