Where

A short game I made in 3 days...
You have to go through 4 mazes to reach for the balloon...
It's only available for Windows XP and up, sorry...
If "Unable to locate component. This application has failed to start because d3dx9_35.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." appears, run "dxwebsetup.exe" with an internet connection, then run "Where.exe" again.
If your computer is powerful enough, holding right-click button will make the game run faster...
If you have pixel shader 2.0 and above, it will use a fullscreen shader for (slightly) better visuals...

/sadface.
What I did notice is that your work is different and artfull but people are having trouble actually getting it to work.
I should give it a very low grade for that reason alone but I didn't.
I'll just not vote.
I agree with zork.
I'm not understanding the 5 ratings?
From what I gather: It either works or it doesn't.
I'm commenting on the "It Doesn't". I've been watching this for a while now and haven't seen ANY attempt to address or FIX the problem.
If you worked for a company that wrote software for Windows Architecture and the program wouldn't run on Windows machines.......Hum....Doesn't seem like the boss would rate your work a 5!
Also, from what I've been reading, I gather that you have created something that the other programers seem to think is fantastic.
Why don't you address the bugs, fix the problem, and get your software working properly, so that others can actually run it.
Just my thoughts.
I downloaded the 'Puzzle Game' and then updated the DirectX . I didn't see any instructions except move and look.
All I get on the screen is a very faint picture of a candle???? That's It??
A faint picture of a candle that you can move around and all the developers think that it is worth a 5 !!!
I just don't get it.
Sorry.
It says something about a dll called mfc71 if that helps..
Dang, that's tough. I had to give up to avoid tearing out my hair(although that's probably because my computer's far too slow).
Very nice graphics. Well thought out.
