Rumble Blocks

This game is designed to teach children ages 4-11 how to build and identify stable structures. Players must build towers by manipulating a series of blocks in order to help a friendly alien creature get to its spaceship so it can return to home.

Hey, this is actually really cool. Has it been used in the classroom at all? Would be interested to know how well it was received.

CROS, thanks for your feedback. They game has not been formally used in classroom curriculum, however, we have conducted formal in-school evaluations with over 200 children so far. They feedback from the children has been very positive, and analysis of the learning efficacy has been promising. You can read more about our project at http://www.etc.cmu.edu/engage
