can you just put up a wine converted file until you get the mac and linux versions created? the reason I ask is I have no clue how to work wine in a way that is playable

Nice! But one thing I wish was in is...controller support. I've been playing the original lately with my controller and its much better and easier to use, same with the full priced game

People have reported that it runs under Wine just fine, including multiplayer.
I'd like to make native Linux and Mac versions in future, but that's weeks of work, which I currently can't quite afford.

Yes it does run fine but I was just hoping for a Native Version but I can wait and still run this with wine.

Do you mean the single/host/join one? If so, it's indeed a bit of a mess, it was reused from one of my previous projects, and is tied to few sections of networking code. I'll be replacing that with something more appropriate later on (probably together with rewriting parts of multiplayer so that it'd run on non-Windows too).

Yes were you either choose to play single player or in a network match it is very confusing and sweet it will make it a lot better!

I don't know how much I agree with the Patreon, you're making money off Derek's game, I get that you modded it, but he put 95% of the work in. But at least you're good with Game Maker so it's not a half-@$$ crap mod.

I think noone agrees, you can notice that game-specific patreon is completely empty, while my personal one has seen a minimal impact from releasing the mod.

Like, why would someone want to compensate my hundreds of hours spent to make a genuinely good mod? Like, really. Or why would anyone want to support me financially so I could make more nice things and keep them free for everyone?

We should just not have nice things, right?

I think you're overreacting, all that I meant was I don't agree with asking for money to support something that isn't yours. But don't try and make your self look fantastic, many people have put in thousands of hours on projects and asked for nothing. Take No More Room in Hell for example.

So you decide to compare NRH development team, http://www.nomoreroominhell.com/about/ with a single-person effort. That's okay, I guess.

I am not trying to make myself look fantastic, but rather stating that it is valid to allow people to support my efforts if they think that I've done a good job.

Nobody is *required* to contribute. But contributions could help me further improve this mod in near future, as currently I do not have resources to do that. Otherwise I wouldn't ask for anything. But we have what we have.
