I like it. Some of the graphics could use work though as some didn't seem in keeping with the retro style.

im digging it alot, just needs a story so i know why im shooting the baddies. also i dislike how i cant shoot while i jump, i find it hard to kill the baddies in the cave with out loosing 3 hearts. but better than my first game in gamemaker, props to you.
