GravMonkey is a unique puzzle-platformer that tasks the player with the Job of navigating a space monkey through a series of 6 gravity bending levels in an attempt
to reach the exit. On the surface the idea of manipulating gravity to reach the end of a level seems creative and interesting, and trust me, in theory it is, but the way the
designer has implemented is largely unimaginitive and monotmous. The Engine used in the game works well but fails to be implemented to it's full potential. The levels consisted
mainly of jumping from bottom to top, reverting the gravity, avoiding unthreatening idle saws, rinse and repeat. The only level where I saw this element change was the scenario
with the Water, which was a nice addition.

The lack of obstacles (the only obstacle being an idle spinning Saw) caused the gameplay to become extremely monotomous and the overly repetitive midi music become annoying
extremely fast. The sprites were unattractive and appeared to be an MS paint Job. I found the blurry background incredibly distracting and clashing with the other graphics.

Pros:
- Interesting gravity changing mechanic

Cons:
- Annoying Overly Repetitive Music
- Unattractive graphics
- Lack of gameplay elements (such as obstacles)

Suggestions:
+ Add more variety and gameplay elemnts into the Levels
+ Re-design the sprites (if the theme is simple sprites then make sure they do not clash)
+ Improve the sound quality

Closing comments:

GravMonkey has the potential to be an enjoyable game, but it has a great
deal of work ahead of it.

Good, but REALLY slow paced.

I really like the interesting gravity idea.

Played this on YYG. The game can get pretty glitchy, and it doesn't look like you modified the planet gravity engine too much, but, the elements you added were pretty good.

ok some feedback 1. change the manue its the first thing the player is looking at and your game deserves a good first impression.
2.Second you could add the feature that the player is colured in the colur of the rectangle he ( or she :) ) is standing at.
and 3. you could add some more sprites for the player.

But all in all GJ and keep up the good work.

Because its just a wip you get 5 stars :)
