That sounded half-negative. I liked this. The water seemed a tad too fast, but I beat it regardless. I had a good time.

Pretty fun, very difficult, but I liked it. The graphics are quite unique, and aesthetically pleasing, and the overall design and idea is fun to play with. Would be great if there was a 'lite difficulty' mode, whereupon reaching each 'level' your position is saved, instead of just at checkpoints (though that would of course lead to issues with the water; I'm sure there's a walkaround). A restart button would be nice too! :D

Overall, I liked it, and I'm sure you achieved just what you set out too. Good luck in the competition!

Hmm, that's 3 people it lags for now, even though it works fine for me on a dodgy PC :P I don't know how I can optimize it anymore :P

Odam, that's a nice game.
I'll admit it was tough at first, but once I got used to the physics and stuff, it was smooth sailing from there on out. I beat it on my second try :s

Hmm.. the graphics done really well, though I am tired of little block characters; kinda overused IMO. I do like being able to see the whole stage at once though. As others have said, it is indeed hard, but IMO not in a good way. Its not fun enough for you to keep playing despite the difficulty. Also, one beef I had was with the moving "platforms" with the spikes on the bottom, I figured you could jump on top of them but no, you die when you jump on the smooth side with no spikes; I was like " wtf?" 3 out of 5 from me.

The block characters were a necessity for the size of the level on the screen. I hate neo-retro for the sake of laziness too; that's why I tried to counter it with a detailed background. I realize precision platformers can grate a bit, but I wanted to make a game that was an achievement to beat. Keeping with the theme, I wanted a game that was a Rogue, a game that was "Reckless or malicious ... that causes discomfort or annoyance" in the player :D Cheers for playing
