Not a bad game, but like others said, it freezes after the first level. Almost too easy.

Thank you for your feedback :). I think I've fixed the bug you mentioned and I've made it more difficult. If you could try it again to see if it is fixed, I would appreciate that.

Good start, but that freezing at the end of the first level every time is a game killer -- I even got one total freeze in the middle of the level after killing only 13 aliens.

Sorry about that bug, I hadn't come across it by sheer luck I guess, but I've found it and I believe I have dealt with it. If you could try it again to verify that would be great :).

Nice to see Gamejolt API in use. Almost nothing is added to the original space invaders. Collision with the red bricks isn't that good (bullets make a hole in the middle of the block). Game freezes when you win the first level. I hope this game is also early in development, so i can't really rate it yet...

Yes, it was meant to be extremely similar to the original space invaders. And as for the freezing thing, I had thought I'd fixed that.... I'll have to take another look. Thanks.

As for the collision, I cannot reproduce that, the only think I can think of is that there was a tiny freeze and so when the bullet adjusted it leaped forward into the center of the block, but other than that the collision seems spot on.

Oh, I think I know what you mean, like it froze for a second? Okay, yeah I will make that change :)

Looks good, but the game completely blocks up when submitting a highscore. You should look in to putting any GJ API requests in separate threads. :)
