  SHOCK is a 2D platformer with great effects and soon-to-be high-scores.  Everything in the menu works except for the high-scores and awards buttons.  Unfinished, DO NOT RATE YET, though commenting is appreciated. :P

v0.29 - 5 settings, 4 powerups, and other cool stuff. :P

Made for the upcoming Jolt Arcade, and Nikc-Nacks competition 02, getting higher, just because some levels relate to getting higher to shock the enemies.  Use the help guide in the menu to learn how to play, instructions will be placed here when I have the time. :P  Have fun playing! =D

Well, it is a nice game. There's a little thing though, at least the map 1 is infinitely easy. If I corner myself to the farthest right, the enemy comes and get stuck there, and it's just a matter of time for them to be scorched by the shocking station. I suggest to give them a better pathfinding if possible :P.

Other than that, maybe the first time I didn't got anything at all (I didn't knew those crosses were enemies, and I was amazed when the shock didn't killed me), but the help took all my doubts off.

I like the idea. Just not the controls Its hard to play with the blue power up. Its a good game idea. Just needs something else, depth wise.

erm... controls = arrow keys? Arrow keys aren't good controls? Or are you talking about the friction? Oh and the blue powerup is used so you can either attack enemies, or get away from them because they get slow. And also, this is still being worked on very much, I'm adding in more gameplay and features, also more effects and it'll have a lot more action in the end. ;D Thanks for playing

They forces against you seem strong at times. The blue power up also seems to slow the player down (or atleast affect the forces on him).

Erm... it's more of an effect, showing the 'forces' are slowing down. The player does also slow down, and changes color too, though He is still a lot faster than the enemies, this power up is used more to increase speed, to kill enemies, or get away faster. You can basically use it those ways, and the background effects are used to make it look cool, lol. :P

It's pretty cool, sub-atomic particle. I would rate '4' because the lack of an objective (other than to survive.) Otherwise, great game.
