This game is really unfinished.

With this project I'm trying to focus on subtlety to give a quality to the game I don't see in many other games.
But it feels like it's only about 10% complete at this stage, the game just sort of looks cool.
I hope to add some interesting objectives/storylines and things for the player to do.

Controls:
'W' accelerates towards mouse.
Left mouse button fires weapon.
Right mouse button fires secondary weapon.
'E' is used to enter ships, specify ship with crosshair.
Tap 'W' repeatedly to hijack ship.
'C' selection key.
'Ctrl' toggles ship GUI display.
How to play:
There's no objective at this point, the game is freeroam.
You start off in your 'home sector' where you can summon allies.
Take the ship below your position.
Move upward to the 'warp gate', stop within the blue ring.
3 destinations will light up around the ring, specify with mouse
and press 'C' to be taken to that destination.
Attacking authorities [white ships] will give you a rogue status, and
for a time you will be a target for them.
When in a pirate ship [green striped] authorities will attack you, pirates won't unless you turn on them.
Docking at space stations has no meaning yet. But it looks pretty cool.

I am taking over the development of this game. My first plan is to fix some bugs, optimize the engine a bit, and then make a multiplayer mode. You can work together to expand and protect stations, or you can turn on your friends and join the Rogue, and lead squads of bad guys to attack the Authorities. I am extremely excited to start working on this.
Also, I will be making versions for other platforms, such as HTML5, Android, and possibly iOS and Mac.
Normalen Bären / Pixelhaus Toast / Jake Clover will still be involved with the development of this game. I just wouldn't be able to recreate his unique style by myself.
You can "Like" me on Facebook (http://on.fb.me/XGVp7U) to receive updates for this game, and my other projects. I plan on having a working (but definitely not perfect) multiplayer mode within 1 week.
I want to get this game finished as soon as possible, and I will not let any of you down!
