Why? Why did I have to play the demo? Now I'll have to wait another 2-3 years to experience the full game.

It's awfully close to the original, I would've have mistaken it for Toby's work if I didn't know it's a fangame beforehand. I would pay actual money for this game, seriously, put it at 10$ in steam like the original (If Toby is OK with that) and I will buy it WITHOUT A DOUBT!

If you can keep it to original characters it would be awesome demo spoiler alert, when I saw Toriel at the entrance and doing the puzzles I was like "oh, this is another UT wanna be that doesn't want to risk trying new things, how dissa-" and then the floor cracked and the game basicly said "yeah, screw her, we don't need any goat moms to be a good game". I don't say that you can't use those kind of cameos tho, it really caught me off guard and it was a really nice trick.

Also, I've been following Master Sword for a long time and I KNEW he would make awesome videogame music.

My comment may not matter in this sea of like, 3,382 comments, but, heck, I just wanted to speak out anyway. I really love your game! The pitfall that many fangames fall into is that they redo the same exact plot as UnderTale itself, and so it gets extremely boring. However, this game completely turned the direction in which the story was going, with Clover falling into the hole... which is in another hole... uH-
Anywho, I applaud you on making an original and interesting storyline. It was really fun to play through your game. However, what I would recommend you try to improve is some of the side characters' designs, such as Flier, whose design just doesn't really go too well with their personality. Maybe you could also give Dalv a little bit more of a solid personality, since I felt you could have used just a small bit more of character development. However, this is just the demo, so who knows what's coming next?

When is the full game releasing?

  • Now. You can play it :)

Will you make a game for -Insert soul color here- after UTY?

  • No, this game already drained all of our life force. Maybe someone else will!

Can you translate it into -insert language here-?

  • We currently have no concrete plans for translations. We understand that fans in other countries would like to enjoy it in their language but we only have an English version right now. However, if we do facilitate translations, Japanese and Spanish would be the top priority.

Did Toby greenlight this?

  • Kind of? But not quite. An email was sent to him before development began that basically said "Can we make an Undertale fangame?" to which he replied "Do what thou wilt."

Is this game a virus?

  • No. Windows may warn you that this game is suspicious but it is, in fact, quite spicious.

When will the game be ported to Mac?

  • We will work towards a macOS version in the future! In the meantime, there are options to run exe's on Mac.

Controller support?

  • Yes! UTY has full gamepad support for xinput controllers!

Accessibility options?

  • Yep, there are options to ease certain mechanics such as No Screenshake when you take damage, Auto-Fire to ease potential hand strain, Easy Mode to reduce damage taken, and Auto-Rhythm which simplifies a certain challenging boss fight.

Uploading content

  • When it comes to uploading content, we don’t like uploads that aren’t under fair use such as OST re-uploads as the full OST is already officially on YouTube. Extensions are passable as long as they aren’t monetized. Let’s Plays, remixes, animations, and anything else original are fully welcomed and encouraged though :)
