Plants vs Zombies Retro is a demake of the Plants vs Zombies game created by Popcap Games.

  Decent graphics, and fun gameplay. I could definitely see this being an earlier version of the original Plants Vs Zombies.

  A pretty good demake of Plants Vs. Zombies.
  A few things I didn't like,
  it was infinite, you could easily cheat (putting a wallnut on the zombies)
  and I had the whole field covered and protected.
  At 1100 points, I let it go until I lost, at 4000-something points.
  Pretty good overall, (most of the issues were due to it being a demake,
  so they don't detract from the value).
  And please, installers make me pull my hair out, a single executable would've been a lot nicer.

  The installer was mostly because it required a few dependencies, I thought it would be the easiest solution to making sure people had them before trying to run the game.
  
  If I had more time before the end of the contest, I would have added a time limit before reusing a plant, and have had more time to try and balance things out properly.
