Another One to Die For is an arena shooter made for the Arena Shooter contest. It features unique graphics set it in a poetic war scene, giving it original gameplay and realistic war music to finish it off.

grats. an asii - art version in C would be cool. To play on MINIX 3 or under any LInux with graphical interface shut down. Gave 5/5. A multiplayer version could also deserve..... the style is phenomenal! the tracks left by the vehicle is a great effect!! If you do it in C, you can use malloc() to register or say 'remember' an illimited number of tracks left by vehicles passing by and damages due to shootings. I am making a 3D shooter foot+vehicle+plane that i plan to do in 4 colors, but obtained by properly filling with black lines... the starting point in X_CTruck3D_Simplex . Nice to know that also other people do graphic-novel looking videogames.

This game is pretty nice, I like the graphics and all, I mean the only thing keeping me from giving it a four is the fact that the game isn't really fast enough. By the way, this is the first use of cursive I have ever seen in a shmup. 3.5/5

Its a pretty nice game :D.
But I agree, it would be nice to have some sort of campagin, with story and everytinhg, that would be awesome :D, and I would play it for hours n_n!

Only what I can say thats amazing :) man :) your graphics and effects and games improves very quickly :) and amazing :) you are so talented zack keep the good work :)
But I have a request why dont u try to make a long game for couple of hours :) a long adventure or platform game :) it will be nice to see a larger project from you :)

I've tried to make a longer type of game, but I grow bored from working on it, and then want to move onto something else, leaving it unfinished. If I get an idea for a larger game, I might just try something.

Love the graphics style, poetry, interface, and gameplay. All I have to say is the resolution change is kind of annoying. Anyway, another great game Zack!
