    Really enjoyed your work!
Maybe it was because it wasn't just Another game maker......thing.
    Maybe it was the graphics.
Maybe it was the unique puzzles.
I don't know the magic combination, but I do know that IT WORKS!
Very Well Done. We really enjoyed the ride.

Before you even know what the game is all about, the graphics pull you in.
And I must admit that I've never been a big fan of all of the usual software authors that just use "standard design tools" to create software. (LOL, But that just shows my age:)
    That said:
    Do you like puzzles?
Then just Download ColourWise and give it a 'spin'. I think that you will soon notice why it is rated so high.
    I did.

I'm really enjoying/hating playing your game:)
Keep up the great work. In just the first few screens I can tell how much you put into the game.
The ONLY reason I didn't give you a 5 was because I played Daves Trails first.
    Great Software!
    Great Game!
    Great Puzzles!
Thank You for ColourWise and Thank You for keeping it free.
    Mike.

    cute.
not my kind of puzzle but the program was VERY WELL DONE.
it only took a few levels to see how much work and detail went into the program.
it is definitely worth the download. if you like this kind of puzzle then you will absolutely love ColurWise.

First of all, thanks everyone for the feedback! It really means a lot to me to see people I've never met before taking a slice of their time to write something about ColourWise.
Comments (encouraging or not) are always useful to improve and are, imho, the best way to repay an indie dev for his/her efforts.

I just want to address a couple of points made by Jpuzzler:

-the game can be played in "window mode": just run the Setup (you can find the icon in the game folder, it's called "winsetup" and depicts a colour wheel with the word "setup" written in gray inside it.
If another version of CW will ever see the light, I'll make sure to add a "play in window mode" option inside the game :)

-ColourWise is cointained in one folder, won't install any .reg files in your PC, won't mess with MS Windows in any way, won't leave trash when deleted (even if you don't use the uninstaller and simply put its folder into the trash bin).
I want to reassure all the players out there: what Jpuzzler said is not true in any way.

Eh? It's called fullscreen mode. Pretty common in a lot of downloadable games. Also, I think it may just not be your kind of puzzle game. I was able to plan my steps out beforehand and not just have to try to guess over and over. I thought it stretched my brain fairly nicely, which I believe a puzzle game should do. I do agree that it's not for everyone, though.

    My comment got cut off!
I realize that I'm one of those rare women but...
    1. I don't like those (so-called puzzles) that make you just keep TRYING things until you do what the programer wanted you to do.
    2. I like PUZZLES! That's right...a puzzle! Not some trial and error nonsense. Give me a puzzle that takes Brain Power and not just a learning curve like the old Mario Brothers Game.
    3. Come on Guys and Gals. Stop using those cookie cutter game engines! They tend to make ALL of your software start to look the same. aka Bejewled. God, if I see another Clone I think I'll scream!
    But I digress.
I've been told most of my life that I am a beautiful woman (does that mean that I should be sterotyped?
What I mean by that is: STOP just putting a different cover on an old book.
Hee, hee....My husband just wispered for me to calm down. I DO tend to get emotional at times:)

Can't believe it won an award!
How can a person know how to mix colors together to come out with a shade?
This shouldn't be called a puzzle. It should be called a tutorial for a job in a paint shop autobody shop.

Don't get me wrong. The graphics are Fantastic and a LOT OF WORK must have went into this project, but...
I don't believe that A PUZZLE should be solved by trial and error. I think a good puzzle is something that is EASY to learn but you have to 'THINK' to solve it. Not just keep trying stuff until you get it.
    But that's just me:)

Another thing that I don't like about 'Games' recently. Why don't they just run in their own window?
Why do they take over your whole machine?
We are all running WINDOWS OS aren't we? So, like solitaire, Write your programs to Run In Their Own Windows and not take over your entire computer.

Another thing that I didn't like about this game. After the 1st few minutes I realized that I didn't want this game on my system, not that it was a bad game (it was Beautifully designed) but I just didn't want it on my machine because I realized what kind of 'puzzle' it was.
    However,I couldn't delete it!
Had to reboot the computer before it would let me delete the files. I DON'T LIKE THIS!
This means that these types of games take control of your Windows Operating System.
I much rather a game that keeps itself contained to its own folder and doesn't mess with my computer, my computer files, or the Windows Operating System.
