TOWERCLIMB
An epic, endless, procedurally generated tale concerning towers, and the climbing of them.

- Arrows to move
- X to jump
- W for inventory
- 1,2,3 for potions
- Hold up and/or left/right arrows against walls/ceilings to climb/hang off them
Direct X 9.0c is required for this game

Towerclimb the new extended and completed version (nov 2011) has been entered in the 14th annual IGF competition. Many more levels, bosses, and new cool things added to the game!

Is there a time frame for the next release? I'm dying to try it out and spotlight it again on 4cr.
I don't know what you put in that game, but something has got me crazy addicted to it.

Another version should be out soon! I'm kind of a perfectionist though ^-^. I'm hoping a beta will be out for testing in the next month. If you like the version on this site (and boy is it dated now..), then you will love the full game. Check my blog (davioware.blogspot.com) for updates.

Yes. Now it's very polished, and I will be selling it as a commercial indie game.

I just got over 1400, and when I was right near the door a question mark poped up and there was a green fog... on top of me. So I raced down and just waited. That time never came (I worm got me), but I still don't understand what to do if fog is coming down on you. Please help, Mr Ware.

You have to go back up once it disappears, the door will be unlocked. I know nothing hints at that in this build, it was rushed out for the compo deadline. The final game is much more polished and has improved every aspect of this original alpha.

You should make a mode where you have a sword and with more enemies. I mean seriously, who goes in a huge tower full of monsters without a sword?! Are these guys just retarded peasants giving up on life?

These guys don't need a sword holding them back. they already are over encumbered by their huge balls.
