  Inspired by Bionic Commando (Konami 1987) ? You be the judge. Either way, whatever your initial first impressions are, Mission Extreme is 8-BIT graphical magic all the way through. Occasional sprite flicker is off putting, understandably few will argue with this much. Game play is great; seems to be consistently all there with a purpose. 3.5 / 5 (70%)
