Innoquous 1 & 2

A zip containing Innoquous and Innoquous 2.

Both games revolve around the ability to switch the direction of gravity by hitting arrows in the level. Using this power, you must get the the end of each level.

My motive for creating Innoquous was that I'd seen a lot of gravity switching games, but none were done particularly well. With the knowledge of the view_angle function, I created a decent engine for an under-developed type of game, and turned it into my own game.

Innoquous' success astounded me. It was only 10 levels long, looked really rough during a screen turn and had unfitting latino music. It currently has over 7,800 plays on YoYo Games and a "featured", was featured on the IndieGames Blog and several foreign language websites, and even in UK gaming magazing EDGE as "Internet game of the month".

Innoquous 2 was an attempt to rectify some of Innoquous' mistakes. It's drawn differently so looks much neater during screen turns, has 18 levels with more variety (including new "bad" items that hurt or kill you), and has different music. Both games are included in this pack.

I'm currently creating Innoquous 3, with 30 brand new levels, colour, several different objects including movers (which also act as trampolines), switch blocks, switch killers, and blocks which can be destroyed if you hit them hard enough.
