Original Game: Hold Off Red by Matt Thorson

Controls
Arrows ---> Aim
Z-----------> Fire
Extra Info
I decided to make Hold Off Red into a nice little GameBoy Game. There are only a couple cases where I've broken the specs of emulating one, too:
-Enemy Sprites and Bullets rotate instead of adding new images
-Didn't follow the maximum of 10 sprites per scanline spec
If enough people like this demake, then I'll consider polishing it up a lot and include those fixes, and create a more emulator-esque environment, and include green screen graphics (result of non-backlit GameBoy).

This is a GREAT demake. I love your choice of game and how you did it in a gameboy style. Wonderful tribute.

Really great game, once again. You always seem to have great ideas for games and this theme wasn't a challenge for you. :P Thanks for this entry!

Nice one tater!. I like the graphics and the quicker gameplay more then the original. I'm only crit is that the learning curve is hard. At a point, you get an upgrade and then the next stage is like 3 times harder than the last one haha.
Don't know if this is a glitch or not , but an enemy moved into a place that I couldn't shoot and it rant into me lol. Got to wave 7!
How many waves are there?
rotten_tater said 1 year ago
It isn't a glitch, it's actually intentional. I wanted it to be a fairly unfair version of the original, since I always felt that GameBoy games had a lot of cheap-kill things.
The number of waves is infinite. You cannot win. :]
