- Game Overview
Play as a fallen angel in this exploration platformer.
I made this for Indie Kombat ( http://www.indiekombat.com ), in which I competed against a developer named Andrew Brophy during the month of October 2010. We had to make a game using elements of our opponent's games, and at the end of the month both games are released and users vote on the best one. There was also some trash talking involved.

I just signed up just to comment on this game. Sweet short game. Totally deserves 1st "Free Platformer 2010" at indiegames.com (don't know if you knew that).
Just 1 question: when is Escape from the Underworld 2 coming out? =3

I love the music, which is something I usually don't even notice in games. And I love the way a story is told without words. It was a little hard, but I'm a bit of a sissy. Awesome game.

Words can't describe how great this game, when I played, I was pissed. Getting my ass kicked by those stupid angels, but liking the concept of the game itself. While the gameplay was hard at first, it was only a matter of time when you gain back all your powers. I loved it, and for me, the last battle was epic, and though the ending could have used a bit more to it, its still good since it is self explanatory. You kicked the angel's ass, and it was damn satisfying, standing over the corpse of the fallen angel while the screen faded away. Peace and Prosperity has been damned. 5/5

Overall good game.
The controls had a different feel than most games of this genre. It was tricky, but not too frustrating and really satisfying once you get the hang of it. One minor annoyance was the fact that I'm playing on an Azerty keyboard.
I liked minimal style, the main character looked really cool.
If only the endgame was a bit longer. You basically get instantly thrown into the final battle, while I expected more challenges (and violence) at the end.

Question:I just ended the game and I want to add Trophies to my account.
I enter my user name and it says enter user token. (What's that?)
Banov said 1 year ago
Apparently trophies are still in beta so not everyone has access to them. Somebody should get on CROS about that.

Really loved playing this. Great graphical style (it did definitely remind me of Andrew Brophy's style) and the gameplay was solid. Also really liked how you had to regain your abilities and gain new ones. Flying and speeding up at the same time was lots of fun to play around with. Cons: I hated that there was a game over screen each time you died. I would rather it just sent me back to the last save point. Also, it was way too short. It would be great if you expanded it a bunch. 4/5
